The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has postponed the AP OAMDC 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment.

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has postponed the AP OAMDC 2026 Phase 1 seat allotment. As per the revised schedule, the Online Admissions Module for Degree Colleges (OAMDC) Phase 1 seat allotment will now be released on September 7, 2026. The allotment was earlier scheduled to be announced on September 2, 2026. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status through the official portal at cap.apcfss.in. The web options entry window closed on August 27, 2026, while a one-day option modification facility was provided on August 28, 2026. Candidates who have finalized their choices will now have to wait for the revised allotment date. The allotment will be based on the web options submitted by the candidates.

Who Is Affected by the Postponement?

The postponement will affect undergraduate aspirants across Andhra Pradesh. AP OAMDC 2026 will facilitate admissions to 4,92,820 degree seats across participating institutions.

The participating institutions include:

  • 152 government colleges
  • 120 aided colleges
  • 1,062 private colleges
  • 2 university colleges

Candidates from different districts across Andhra Pradesh will be covered under the admission process.

How to Check AP OAMDC 2026 Phase 1 Seat Allotment?

Candidates can follow these steps to check their allotment result on September 7:

  1. Visit the official OAMDC portal at cap.apcfss.in.
  2. Click on the AP OAMDC 2026 Phase 1 Seat Allotment link.
  3. Enter the required registration number and password.
  4. Submit the login details.
  5. Check the allotted college, course, stream, and category displayed on the screen.
  6. Download the allotment order.
  7. Take a printout for the admission and reporting process.

What Is the Self-Reporting and College Reporting Process?

Candidates who are allotted seats must complete two important steps after the allotment:

  • Step 1: Self-Reporting
    Candidates must complete self-reporting through the OAMDC portal to confirm their acceptance of the allotted seat.
  • Step 2: College Reporting
    After completing self-reporting, candidates must physically report to the allotted college to complete the admission formalities and document verification.

Candidates should carry their original certificates and required documents for verification. Failure to complete either self-reporting or college reporting within the prescribed deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Candidates should keep the following documents ready before visiting the allotted college:

  • Class 10 marks memo
  • Class 12 marks memo
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • Income certificate, if applicable
  • Aadhaar card
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Study or residence certificate for proof of local status
  • OAMDC allotment order
  • Fee payment receipts
  • One set of photocopies of the required documents
