The university has also opened Phase 1 web option entry for MBBS and BDS admissions for the 2026-27 academic year. Eligible candidates can fill in their preferred colleges under the 85% state quota. Only candidates whose names appear in the final merit list are eligible to participate in the web option process. Seat allotment will be based on the candidate's NEET UG 2026 rank, category, and choices entered online. Candidates had earlier registered for AP NEET UG counselling through the Dr NTRUHS portal. The last date for candidates applying with a late fee was August 14, 2026. Grievances submitted against the provisional merit list were addressed before the final merit list was published.

4. They must satisfy the applicable local or non-local status requirements of Andhra Pradesh.
5. Candidates must have their certificates successfully verified.
6. Candidates with unverified certificates will not be eligible to fill web options. Those with pending grievances should also check their status on the official portal before proceeding.

How to Fill AP NEET UG 2026 Phase 1 Web Options?

Candidates can follow these steps to submit their college preferences:

1. Visit the AP NEET UG admissions portal at apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in.
2. Log in using the required NEET UG 2026 roll number and password.
3. Open the seat matrix to check available seats by category and reservation.
4. Select the preferred MBBS and BDS colleges.
5. Arrange the choices in the desired order of preference.
6. Save the selected choices.
7. Lock the web options before the prescribed deadline.
8. The order of preferences entered by the candidate will be considered during the seat allotment process.

What Are the Revised Choice-Filling Rules?

1. Dr NTRUHS has revised certain counselling rules for the 2026-27 academic session.
2. Candidates can enter as many choices as they wish.
3. There is no restriction on the number of choices that can be saved.
4. The earlier restriction that barred candidates from participating in future rounds if they failed to join an allotted seat has been removed.
5. Candidates who lose an allotted seat can participate in subsequent counselling rounds, subject to the applicable rules.
