AIIMS MSc Open Round Seat Allocation

Seat allocation will be conducted according to the rules specified by AIIMS and will depend on factors such as merit/rank, eligibility, available seats and applicable category rules. Candidates should not assume that every vacant seat will necessarily remain available until the final allocation because the vacancy position can change during the admission process. AIIMS has historically published separate vacant-seat positions and specific Open Round procedures for M.Sc. admissions. Previous notices also show that Open Round procedures can differ from the regular online rounds, so candidates should follow the 2026 notice rather than previous-year instructions.

Documents to Keep Ready

Candidates should keep the following documents ready for the admission process:

1. AIIMS M.Sc./M. Biotechnology entrance examination documents
2. Registration/roll number details
3. Qualifying degree certificate
4. Academic marksheets
5. Category certificate, where applicable
6. Valid photo ID
7. Passport-size photographs
8. Other documents specified by AIIMS
9. Candidates should check the latest Open Round notice for the exact original-document and reporting requirements.

Is AIIMS MSc Open Round 2026 the Final Counselling Round?

The supplied information describes the Open Round as the final counselling stage, but this should be published as a confirmed fact only if the current 2026 AIIMS notification explicitly states that no further seat allocation will be conducted. For SEO accuracy, it is safer to call it the Open Round of seat allocation unless AIIMS expressly describes it as the final round.
