AACCC UG Round 3 2026 Begins; All Candidates Get Upgradation Opportunity
The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has started Round 3 of UG counselling for the 2026–27 academic session, with fresh registration open from October 14 and choice filling underway from October 15, 2026.

The Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has started Round 3 of UG counselling for the 2026–27 academic session, with fresh registration open from October 14 and choice filling underway from October 15, 2026. The round covers AIQ admissions to BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS and B.Pharm-ITRA courses across participating Government, Government-Aided, Deemed University, Central University and National Institute seats. A major Round 3 development is the addition of new AIQ-UG seats. AACCC's current UG counselling page lists a new official notice on these added seats. The notice also gives earlier-round admitted candidates a broader opportunity to seek upgradation in Round 3, including candidates who did not submit willingness for upgradation while reporting in their previous round.

AACCC Adds New AIQ Seats for Round 3

AACCC's official counselling page currently lists a notice titled “Notice regarding addition of New AIQ seats in AACCC UG R-3.”  Candidates should therefore recheck the latest Round 3 seat availability before locking choices, even if they previously reviewed the available colleges after Round 2. The exact institutions, courses, categories and number of additional seats should be taken from the latest official seat notice and Round 3 matrix.

All Earlier-Round Candidates May Get an Upgradation Chance

The most important change in the Round 3 notice concerns upgradation. AACCC's new-seat notice states that, in view of the additional AIQ seats and to provide equal opportunity, Round 1 and Round 2 admitted candidates can get an opportunity to upgrade their seat in Round 3 — including candidates who had not submitted upgradation willingness while reporting in their earlier round. This is significant because candidates who believed that not selecting upgradation earlier had ended their chance should now recheck their Round 3 status.

The rule should not, however, be interpreted as a guaranteed upgrade. Seat allotment will still depend on factors including:

  • candidate eligibility;
  • merit;
  • available choices/seats;
  • preferences submitted for Round 3;
  • applicable counselling rules.

Candidates should confirm their individual eligibility in the live portal.

Do Candidates Need to Fill Choices Again?

Round 3 has a dedicated choice-filling window from October 15 to October 20, 2026. Choice submission remains available until 11:55 PM on October 20, with choice locking from 2 PM to 11:55 PM that day. Candidates participating in Round 3 should therefore review the latest available choices and submit their current preference order during the prescribed window. They should not rely only on an older preference list from Round 1 or Round 2.

Which Courses Are Included in AACCC UG Counselling?

AACCC conducts UG AIQ counselling for:

  • BAMS — Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
  • BSMS — Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery
  • BUMS — Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery
  • BHMS — Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery
  • B.Pharm-ITRA

AACCC's official page states that the counselling covers eligible AIQ seats under Government, Government-Aided, Deemed Universities, Central Universities and National Institutes.

AACCC Round 3 Registration Deadline

New Round 3 registration remains scheduled until 2 PM on October 20, 2026. The payment facility stays available three hours longer, until 5 PM on October 20. Candidates should not treat the 5 PM payment cutoff as the registration deadline. The two timings are separate. AACCC also states that applicable counselling charges include a non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit, depending on the candidate's category and counselling selection.  Exact fee amounts should be taken from the current 2026 Information Bulletin or live registration interface.

AACCC Candidate Registration Link Shows Error During Check

AACCC's official UG page currently lists “Click here for New Registration (R-3)” under the Candidate Activity Board.  However, when that link was checked for this update, it redirected to the National Informatics Centre counselling system and displayed:

“Something went wrong. Please try again.”

This does not mean AACCC has formally closed registration. The official schedule still sets the registration deadline at 2 PM on October 20.  Portal functionality can change, so candidates should retry through the official AACCC UG counselling page.

What Should Candidates Do If the Portal Does Not Open?

Candidates facing a temporary registration or login problem should:

  1. use only the official AACCC UG counselling page;
  2. retry after a short interval;
  3. avoid third-party login links;
  4. keep screenshots of persistent errors where useful;
  5. recheck AACCC News & Events for any portal notice;
  6. complete registration and choice filling well before October 20.

A technical error on one attempt should not be treated as an automatic deadline extension.

How Should Candidates Fill Round 3 Choices?

Round 3 candidates should compare:

  • latest seat availability;
  • newly added AIQ seats;
  • course;
  • college;
  • institution type;
  • category/quota;
  • previous joined seat, if seeking upgradation;
  • genuine order of preference.

Candidates already holding an earlier-round seat should be especially careful with their preference order because an upgraded allotment can affect their existing admission under the applicable Round 3 rules. They should read the current AACCC Information Bulletin and Round 3 instructions before adding a college they would not genuinely be willing to join.

When Will AACCC Round 3 Result Be Released?

The AACCC UG Round 3 result is scheduled for October 23, 2026. Seat-allotment processing will take place on October 21 and 22.  Candidates should check the official AACCC website for the provisional/final result and any accompanying reporting instructions.

AACCC Round 3 Reporting Dates

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 are scheduled to report to their allotted institute from October 24 to October 29, 2026.  The exact reporting process, fee payment and original-document requirements should be taken from AACCC's Round 3 reporting rules and the allotted institution.

What Should Candidates Do Now?

Candidates planning to participate should:

  • check whether their Round 3 account is accessible;
  • review the new AIQ-seat notice;
  • verify individual eligibility;
  • complete registration/payment where required;
  • review all available Round 3 options;
  • place colleges in genuine preference order;
  • submit and lock choices within the official window;
  • keep the registration/payment and choice-submission confirmations.

Earlier-round admitted candidates should not assume that their previous non-willingness automatically prevents Round 3 upgradation, because the new AIQ-seat notice provides a specific upgradation opportunity for this round.
