The registration period for the computer-adaptive management entrance test will begin on August 20, 2026, and end on October 10, 2026. The NMAT 2026 exam will take place between November 2, 2026, and December 20, 2026. Candidates can schedule their test slots from August 20, 2026, to October 22, 2026.Each candidate is allowed to take the test up to three times in the same testing year. NMAT scores are accepted by more than 58 top business schools in India, such as NMIMS Mumbai, SPJIMR (PGMPW), VIT Vellore, ISB Certificate Programmes, XIM University, and ICFAI Business School. The test is conducted at physical centers in over 70 cities across India.

Who is eligible to apply for NMAT 2026?
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree of at least three years in any field from a recognized university. They need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their graduation. Final-year students who are yet to receive their results can also apply. There is no upper age limit for taking the NMAT 2026 exam. Graduates in engineering, commerce, science, arts, law, or other disciplines are eligible. There is no relaxation based on categories, as GMAC applies the same eligibility rules for all candidates.
NMAT 2026 Exam Pattern
The NMAT 2026 test is a computer adaptive examination of 120 minutes. It contains 108 questions spread across three sections. Candidates are free to choose the order in which they attempt the sections at the test centre.

Each correct answer carries three marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. All three sections carry equal weightage in the overall scaled score.
NMAT 2026 Registration Fee
The registration fee for NMAT 2026 is expected to be Rs 3,000 plus applicable taxes for one attempt. Extra charges apply for retakes and for late registration after October 10.The fee is the same for all categories, and there are no waivers. Candidates can pay the registration fee online using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. They can also choose to report their scores to selected NMAT accepting schools during registration.
