What Are the CCMT and SFS Routes at NIT Delhi?

CCMT is the national counselling process for MTech admissions in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes. It uses GATE 2026 scores to allocate seats, and the rounds are conducted online via the CCMT portal. The Self-Financed Scheme (SFS) is a separate pathway offered by NIT Delhi, providing MTech seats outside the regular CCMT quota. Both CCMT and SFS candidates will be part of the same MTech program at the institute.

Documents Required at the Time of Reporting

Candidates should bring all the required documents in original form along with one set of self-attested photocopies. Missing documents may delay the verification process.

Documents required include:

  • Class 10 marksheet and passing certificate
  • Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
  • Bachelor's degree marksheet and provisional or final degree certificate
  • GATE 2026 scorecard (for CCMT candidates)
  • CCMT provisional seat allotment letter (for CCMT candidates)
  • SFS provisional offer letter (for SFS candidates)
  • Category certificate if applicable
  • Government-issued photo ID such as Aadhaar or PAN
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Migration and transfer certificate from the previous institution
  • Medical fitness certificate in the prescribed format

  2. Present the original documents for verification
  3. Sign the reporting register at the admission desk
