NMAT 2026 Registration Closes October 10: Fee, Steps and Slot Booking Dates

NMAT has no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates should attempt all questions within the sectional time limit, as unanswered questions receive no marks and cannot be revisited once the section timer expires.

The NMAT by GMAC exam comprises 108 questions across three sections, with a total duration of 120 minutes.

During slot booking, candidates must select their preferred exam city, test centre, and exam date. They must appear at the allotted centre on the scheduled date and time.

Ensure your name matches your government-issued photo ID exactly. Discrepancies between your admit card and original ID may lead to issues during test-centre verification or prevent entry.

After fee payment, candidates can select their preferred exam date through the scheduling tab. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so early booking improves the chances of securing the preferred test centre and time slot.

After submitting the form and confirming payment, note your application number, download the application PDF, and save the payment receipt. Then proceed to book your exam slot within the scheduling window.

• Verify your name against your government-issued photo ID.
• Check your email ID and mobile number.
• Confirm graduation details and marks.
• Ensure your photograph meets the official specifications.
• Review your preferred programmes and institutes before submitting.

Candidates must submit a separate application on the official NMIMS admissions portal using their NMAT registration ID. NMAT registration alone does not complete the NMIMS application process.

• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Class 10, Class 12, and graduation marksheets
• Active email ID and mobile number
• Online payment details (debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI)

1. Visit the official GMAC NMAT portal and create an account.
2. Log in and fill out the application form.
3. Enter personal, academic, and contact details.
4. Select preferred B-schools and MBA programmes.
5. Upload a photograph as per official specifications.
6. Pay the registration fee and download the payment receipt.

Candidates must register online through the official GMAC NMAT portal. Offline and postal applications are not accepted.

Candidates must complete the application form, enter their personal and academic details, and pay the registration fee by October 10, 2026, to be eligible for the exam.
