The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has reopened the online application facility for MDS 2026 admissions for candidates who have newly qualified after the NEET-MDS-2026 minimum qualifying percentile was lowered.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has reopened the online application facility for MDS 2026 admissions for candidates who have newly qualified after the NEET-MDS-2026 minimum qualifying percentile was lowered. The fresh application facility is available to eligible candidates until October 9, 2026, at 10 AM. Candidates who meet the revised qualifying criteria and the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Kerala State MDS 2026 prospectus can submit their applications online.

Kerala MDS 2026 Revised Qualifying Percentile

Following the reduction in the NEET-MDS-2026 minimum qualifying percentile, the revised criteria are:

Candidates who have newly become qualified under these revised criteria can apply for Kerala MDS 2026, subject to the eligibility conditions mentioned in the state prospectus.

Who Can Apply for Kerala MDS 2026?

The reopened application facility is specifically meant for candidates who have freshly qualified under the revised NEET-MDS qualifying criteria.

The eligibility ranges mentioned in the notification are:

  1. General/UR/EWS: From the 40th percentile but below the 50th percentile
  2. SC/ST/OBC, including PwD of SC/ST/OBC: From the 30th percentile but below the 40th percentile
  3. General PwD: From the 35th percentile but below the 45th percentile
  4. Candidates must also satisfy the other eligibility requirements prescribed for Kerala State MDS 2026 admissions.

Kerala MDS Application 2026: Last Date

The online application facility will remain available until:

  • October 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM

Candidates must complete the application submission and upload the required documents within the prescribed deadline.

Kerala MDS Application Fee 2026

The application fee for the reopened application facility is:

  • ₹1,000: General application fee
  • ₹500: SC/ST candidates and candidates eligible for SC/ST benefits

Candidates should also upload documents supporting their basic eligibility and applicable claims, including documents related to nativity, birth proof, fee concession and category benefits, wherever applicable.

How to Apply for Kerala MDS 2026?

Eligible newly qualified candidates can apply through the CEE Kerala website.

  1. Visit the official CEE Kerala website.
  2. Open the PG Dental 2026 – Re-Opening Online Application facility.
  3. Complete the online application form.
  4. Pay the applicable application fee.
  5. Upload the required documents.
  6. Review the details entered in the application.
  7. Submit the application before October 9, 2026, at 10 AM.
  8. Keep a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

Kerala MDS Third Round Allotment 2026

According to the notification, the third-round allotment will be conducted to fill the currently available vacant seats and any vacancies that may arise. Newly qualified candidates who find a place in the rank list can participate in the third-round allotment, subject to the conditions specified by CEE Kerala. The notification also states that previous allotments/admissions should not be disturbed for these newly qualified candidates.

Important Category Claim Rule

Candidates should carefully check the category-related provisions before submitting their applications. The notification states that candidates applying under a community reservation claim within certain percentile ranges may not be considered for the category claim if their percentile falls within the specified limits. Candidates should therefore refer to the official notification and Kerala MDS 2026 prospectus before claiming reservation or other benefits. Candidates who had applied earlier but were excluded from the merit list because they failed to upload relevant documents within the stipulated time may also face restrictions on category claims.
