The DME has emphasized that the counselling process is currently subject to the final orders of the Hon'ble High Court, Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, in Special Appeal No. 295/2025 (Uttar Pradesh State & Others vs. Sabra Ahmad).
Important Admission Process and Guidelines
The revised schedule comes after instructions from the MCC and the Supreme Court to ensure that candidates who have already joined a seat under the All India Quota (AIQ) are excluded from the state counselling process. This measure is critical to prevent seat blocking and ensure that maximum available seats go to genuinely eligible candidates.
What to do after Allotment:
- Download Allotment Letter: Candidates must log in to the official website, upneet.gov.in, using their credentials to download the provisional seat allotment letter within the stipulated period (November 5 to 8, or the final day, November 10).
- Reporting to College: Immediately after downloading the letter, the candidate must report to the allotted medical or dental college to complete the document verification and final admission procedures.
- Document Verification: All original documents, including NEET UG Rank Card, Admit Card, Class 10th and 12th certificates, Domicile Certificate, Category Certificate (if applicable), and the downloaded Allotment Letter, must be presented at the time of reporting.
- Final Admission: Completing the admission, including payment of the remaining tuition fee, must be done by the final deadline, November 10, 2025.
Aspirants are advised that once a seat is joined in this round, there is typically no provision for resignation or further upgradation, securing the finality of the allocation. Any failure to report by the last date, November 10, 2025, will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat and the security deposit.
