UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling Begins Today, Key Dates Announced

The much-awaited Uttar Pradesh NEET UG 2024 counselling process has commenced today, August 20, 2024. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Lucknow, which is responsible for conducting the counselling, has released the important dates for the upcoming rounds.

Registration Process

Candidates who have qualified for the NEET UG 2024 exam and wish to participate in the UP NEET counselling can register on the official website, upneet.gov.in. The registration process will begin today and continue until August 24, 2024, until 2 pm.

Choice Filling and Locking

After successful registration, candidates will be able to fill in their college and course preferences from August 24 to August 29, 2024. The choice-filling process will be done entirely online, and candidates can lock their choices by the end of the day on August 29.

Seat Allotment and Admission

The much-anticipated seat allotment result will be announced on August 30, 2024. Candidates who have been allotted seats can begin the admission process from August 31, 2024. The admission process will conclude on September 5, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling, candidates must have qualified the NEET UG 2024 exam and be included in the state merit list. They must also fulfill the domicile and other eligibility criteria set by the state authorities. The UP NEET UG 2024 counselling will be conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and other AYUSH courses in government and private medical colleges across Uttar Pradesh.
