Following the official release of the SNAP 2025 results yesterday, the constituent institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have commenced their comprehensive admission evaluation. With the scorecard now available for download on the official portal, the focus has shifted toward the institutional shortlisting process. Thousands of aspirants are now tracking the specific percentile requirements for the 17 participating B-schools, including flagship institutes like SIBM Pune and SCMHRD.

SNAP 2025 Result Declaration and Scorecard Access

The university declared the results for all three sessions of the SNAP entrance test simultaneously on January 9. Candidates who appeared for the examinations in December can now access their detailed performance reports online.

  • Download Window: The official scorecard is available on snaptest.org; candidates are advised to secure digital and physical copies as these are mandatory for the next stages of admission.
  • Normalization and Scores: While the exam was conducted in multiple slots, the university has released a scaled percentile for each candidate, reflecting their relative performance against the total pool of test-takers.
  • Accuracy of Data: The scorecard includes sectional scores for General English, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability, though most SIU institutes rely on the overall percentile for the initial shortlisting phase.

Institutional Shortlisting and Expected Cutoffs

Individual institutes under the Symbiosis umbrella have begun the internal process of filtering candidates based on the latest results. Each college sets its own benchmark depending on the volume of applications and the overall difficulty level of the 2025 tests.

  • Flagship Cutoffs: SIBM Pune remains the most competitive, with an expected shortlisting threshold of 98.5 percentile. SCMHRD follows closely with a projected cutoff of 97 percentile.
  • Middle Tier Requirements: Popular institutes such as SIIB Pune and SIBM Bangalore are expected to call candidates falling within the 90 to 93 percentile range.
  • Specialized Program Thresholds: For niche programs like those at SIOM Nashik or SCIT, the shortlisting criteria typically hover between the 75 and 87 percentile marks.

Transition to GE-PI and Final Evaluation

The declaration of the SNAP results marks the end of the written testing phase and the beginning of the personality assessment rounds. The admission process will now move into a more interactive stage where candidates are evaluated on their soft skills and subject knowledge.

  • Second Phase Components: Shortlisted candidates will participate in Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI). Notably, several institutes have refined their process this year to place higher emphasis on these face-to-face evaluations.
  • Merit Weightage: The final selection is a composite score where the SNAP performance accounts for 50% of the weightage, while the GE and PI components contribute the remaining 50%.
  • Schedule Timeline: The specific dates for the GE-PI rounds will be communicated by each institute individually, with most sessions expected to take place throughout February 2026.

Conclusion

The release of the 2025 entrance results has set the Symbiosis admission cycle into high gear. As the shortlisting lists begin to emerge from various SIU institutes, candidates are now transitioning from exam preparation to interview readiness. The coming weeks will determine the final batch for the 2026-28 academic session as the university proceeds with its multi-stage evaluation of the scorecard and candidate profiles.
