Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has commenced the crucial application process for NEET PG 2025 seats under the Management Quota (MQ) in Andhra Pradesh's Private Medical Colleges. The application window for registration without a late fee closes strictly on November 23, 2025 (3:00 PM). A subsequent late fee option is available until November 26. Aspiring doctors must ensure they possess a valid MBBS degree, internship completion certificate (by July 31, 2025), and Medical Council Registration to apply for the high-fee \mathbf{S1} (Merit), \mathbf{S2} (NRI), and \mathbf{S3} (Institutional) sub-categories.

The admission gateway for postgraduate medical and dental courses (MD/MS) under the Management Quota (MQ) in private, unaided Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges across Andhra Pradesh has officially opened. The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada, the nodal authority for medical admissions in the state, initiated the application process for the 2025-26 academic session on November 18, 2025.

This is a critical announcement for thousands of NEET PG 2025 qualified aspirants across the country, as the Management Quota seats in Andhra Pradesh are divided into three sub-categories, including an Open-to-All-India category (S1A). The primary deadline for completing the online application, payment of the registration fee, and submission of scanned documents without incurring a late fee is November 23, 2025 (3:00 PM). A final grace period with a significant late fee is extended until November 26, 2025. Candidates are strongly urged to meticulously review the official prospectus on the NTRUHS website, drntr.uhsap.in, to understand the intricate fee structure and eligibility requirements before proceeding.

 Registration Timeline and Eligibility Mandates

The NTRUHS timeline for the Management Quota is highly condensed, demanding immediate action. Furthermore, candidates must meet rigorous eligibility criteria, particularly concerning their prior training and registration status.

  • Application Timeline:
    • Registration Without Late Fee: From November 18, 2025, up to November 23, 2025 (3:00 PM).
    • Registration With Late Fee: From November 23, 2025, up to November 26, 2025. Note that the late fee is substantial, underscoring the necessity to apply early.
  • Fee Structure: The registration and processing fee varies based on the candidate's MBBS completion location:
    • MBBS Completed within AP (OC/BC/SC/ST): ₹6,000 (approx, excluding GST).
    • MBBS Completed Outside AP (OC/BC/SC/ST): ₹9,000 (approx, including verification fee).
    • Note: Late fees can be as high as ₹20,000 or more in addition to the base registration fee.
  • Mandatory Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must fulfill the following non-negotiable criteria, with the internship completion date being strictly adhered to:
    • NEET PG 2025 Qualification: Must have appeared and secured the minimum qualifying percentile (50th for General/EWS, 40th for SC/ST/OBC).
    • Internship Completion: Must have completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before the specified cut-off date (historically July 31, 2025).
    • Registration: Must hold a Permanent or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or any State Medical Council.

Management Quota Seat Allocation and Fee Structure

The Management Quota (MQ) seats, which constitute 50% of the total seats in Private Medical Colleges, are further sub-divided into categories with vastly different eligibility criteria and highly divergent tuition fees.

  • Management Quota (MQ) Sub-Categories:
    • Sub-Category 1 (S1) - Merit Seats (25%): These seats are filled based purely on NEET PG merit.
      • S1A (15% of S1): Open to candidates from all over India. This is a highly competitive, non-reserved merit pool.
      • S1B (85% of S1): Reserved for Andhra Pradesh Local Candidates only.
    • Sub-Category 2 (S2) - NRI Seats (15%): Filled by Foreign Students / NRI / NRI Sponsored candidates. The tuition fee is the highest in this category.
    • Sub-Category 3 (S3) - Institutional Quota (10%): Seats reserved for candidates sponsored by the institution, employees, or children of employees.
  • Tuition Fee Variation (Indicative - Subject to Change):
    • S1 (Merit) Seats: Clinical courses often range around ₹9.93 Lakhs per annum.
    • S2/S3 (NRI/Institutional) Seats: Clinical courses can be as high as ₹57.50 Lakhs per annum, reflecting the premium nature of these slots.
  • Non-Reservation Policy: It is important to note that no reservations (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) apply for the Management Quota (S1/S2/S3) seats as per Government Orders, making merit (NEET PG rank) the sole criterion within each sub-category.

 Documents and Final Admission Steps

A seamless application and admission process hinges on the immediate availability and proper scanning of all required documents. The subsequent steps are highly time-sensitive.

  • Mandatory Document Checklist: Candidates must have high-quality scanned copies (usually in PDF format) of the following:
    • NEET PG 2025 Scorecard
    • MBBS Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate
    • Compulsory Rotating Internship Completion Certificate (with the cut-off date clearly marked).
    • Permanent/Provisional Medical Council Registration Certificate (NMC/SMC).
    • Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar/Passport).
    • Study Certificates (6th Class to Intermediate) for AP local candidates claiming S1B status.
    • Minority Certificate (if applying to Minority colleges).
  • Final Allotment and Joining: After the application deadline, NTRUHS will publish a Provisional and Final Merit List and conduct subsequent rounds of web-option entry (choice filling). Final admission will be granted only upon successful physical verification of all original documents and the payment of the stipulated tuition fee at the allotted Private Medical College.

Conclusion

The opening of the NTRUHS PG Medical Management Quota application window is the crucial first step for aspirants aiming for high-fee seats in Andhra Pradesh's Private Medical Colleges. Given the strict deadline of November 23, 2025 (3:00 PM) for application without a late fee, and the intricate sub-categories (S1A, S1B, S2, S3) with vastly different financial implications, candidates must act promptly. Successfully completing the registration and documenting the required eligibility proof is paramount to securing a slot in this highly competitive admission cycle.
