NEET UG Counselling Round 1 Registration Extended Again Until August 3
MCC extends NEET UG Round 1 registration and choice filling until August 3, 2025. Revised schedule released; seat allotment result on August 6.

In a crucial and final opportunity for medical and dental aspirants, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has once again extended the registration and choice-filling deadline for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counselling. As per the revised schedule, the last date for candidates to complete their registration, pay fees, and lock their choices has been extended until August 3, 2025.
The decision was made to accommodate a large number of candidates, particularly those from the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category, who are in the process of obtaining their disability certificates from designated centers. This extension aims to ensure that no eligible candidate misses the chance to apply for a seat under the All India Quota (AIQ) in MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses.
Revised Schedule for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 Counselling:
Aspirants are advised to note the new, revised dates and act promptly as no further extensions are expected.
- Registration and Fee Payment: Extended until August 3, 2025 (by 1:00 PM for registration, 4:00 PM for fee payment).
- Choice Filling and Locking: Extended until August 3, 2025 (11:59 PM). The choice locking facility will be available from 6:00 PM on the same day.
- Seat Allotment Processing: August 4 to August 5, 2025.
- Result Declaration: August 6, 2025.
- Reporting to Colleges: August 7 to August 11, 2025.
How to Complete the Registration Process:
Candidates who have not yet registered can do so by visiting the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in. They must use their NEET UG credentials to register, pay the non-refundable registration fee, and the refundable security deposit. After successful registration, it is mandatory to fill out and lock college and course preferences before the new deadline. The seat allotment will be processed based on these preferences, the candidate's NEET score, and the available seat matrix.
This final extension provides a critical window for aspirants to finalize their applications. All candidates, especially those awaiting PwBD certificates, are urged to complete the process within the new deadline to ensure their eligibility for the Round 1 seat allotment.
