With thousands of MBBS graduates preparing to take the test, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) has outlined the detailed framework for the upcoming entrance exam. This includes the exam pattern, marking system, and eligibility requirements that all candidates must adhere to in order to qualify for postgraduate medical seats across India.


Exam Pattern and Structure

Computer-Based Format
The NEET PG 2025 will be held in an entirely computer-based mode with a single session across various centres in India.

Total Number of Questions
Candidates will have to answer 200 multiple-choice questions, all in English, based on the MBBS curriculum.

Marking Scheme
Four marks will be awarded for each correct response, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Who Can Apply?
Only candidates who have completed their MBBS degree and have a valid MBBS internship certificate by the stipulated deadline are eligible.
