The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will release the Round 1 seat allotment result for the MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Centralised Admission Process (CAP) today, August 8, 2025, after 5 PM. This is a crucial day for thousands of candidates who have participated in the counselling process. The allotment list will be based on the candidates' merit rank in the MH CET 3-year LLB exam and the college preferences they filled during the option form stage.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must follow a strict timeline for accepting their seat, paying the fees, and reporting to the designated college. Missing any of these deadlines will result in the forfeiture of their claim to the seat.

How to Check Your Result and Key Dates

Candidates can check their seat allotment status on the official website for the 3-year LLB CAP admissions, llb3cap25.mahacet.org. To view the result, candidates must log in using their application ID and password.

Post-Allotment Timeline

  • Display of First Allotment List: August 8, 2025, after 5 PM
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges & Admission: August 11 to August 13, 2025
  • Colleges Upload Admitted Candidates on Portal: August 14, 2025

Understanding Your Options: Freeze or Betterment

Upon checking the allotment result, candidates will have two primary options:

  • Freeze: This option is for candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotted to them and wish to confirm their admission to that particular college. Candidates who get their first preference must mandatorily select the "Freeze" option. After freezing, the candidate must pay a seat acceptance fee and report to the allotted college for document verification and admission. A candidate who chooses this option will not be eligible to participate in subsequent counselling rounds.
  • Betterment: This is for candidates who have been allotted a seat but wish to be considered for a higher-preference college in the next round. By selecting "Betterment," a candidate accepts the current seat but remains eligible for subsequent rounds. If a better seat is allotted in a future round, their previous seat will be automatically forfeited. If not, they will retain the seat allotted to them in Round 1. These candidates also need to pay the seat acceptance fee and complete the online formalities.

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates who are allotted a seat and choose to freeze it must report to the allotted college with the following original documents and their self-attested copies:

  • MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Allotment Letter
  • MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Scorecard
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and passing certificates
  • Graduation mark sheets
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Caste Certificate, if applicable
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, if applicable
  • Aadhaar Card or another valid government-issued ID proof
  • Recent passport-size photographs

Failing to carry any of the mandatory documents or not reporting within the specified dates will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
