The MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result is out. Learn how to check your result, understand the freeze and betterment options, and the dates for physical reporting.

The wait is over for thousands of law aspirants in Maharashtra. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has released the Round 1 seat allotment result for the MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The results were published on August 8, 2025, after 5 PM on the official admission portal, llb3cap25.mahacet.org. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must now prepare for the next critical steps in the admission process, as the window for physical reporting to the allotted colleges is short.
The seat allotment is based on the candidate's MH CET Law 2025 merit rank and the college preferences they submitted during the option form filling. Candidates are advised to check their individual allotment status and download the allotment letter from the official website.

Understanding the Freeze and Betterment Options
After checking the allotment, candidates have two main options:
- Freeze Option: If a candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted and wants to confirm their admission, they should select the "Freeze" option. This is mandatory if the allotted seat is their first preference. After freezing, the candidate must pay the seat acceptance fee and report to the college within the stipulated dates with all the required documents. These candidates will not be considered for subsequent rounds of counselling.
- Betterment Option: Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seat (and it is not their first preference) can opt for "Betterment." This allows them to secure their current seat while remaining eligible for a higher-preference college in the next round. Such candidates also need to report to the allotted college to complete the required formalities.
Documents Required for Admission
When reporting to the allotted college, candidates must have both original documents and their self-attested photocopies ready for verification.
Mandatory Documents:
- MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Allotment Letter
- MH CET 3-year LLB 2025 Scorecard
- Bachelor's Degree mark sheets
- SSC and HSC mark sheets and passing certificates
- Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra
- Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, if applicable
- Aadhaar Card or another valid government-issued ID
- Recent passport-size photographs
Failing to report by the August 13, 2025, deadline or with incomplete documents will lead to the cancellation of the allotted seat.
