The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has released the provisional allotment list for the first phase of centralised allotment to PG Medical Courses for the academic year 2025-26. This significant step marks a crucial stage for thousands of NEET PG aspirants seeking admission to MD, MS, and Diploma programs within the state's institutions.
The provisional allotment covers a wide array of postgraduate medical seats across Kerala, including those in Government Medical Colleges, the prestigious Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram, and various Private Self-Financing Medical Colleges. The list has been prepared meticulously based on the ranks secured by candidates in the Kerala State Merit List and the order of online options registered by them within the stipulated choice-filling period.
Complaint Window Closed: Prepare for the Final Allotment
Aspirants who accessed the provisional allotment list were given a narrow window to raise any concerns or flag discrepancies. According to the official notification, the deadline for candidates to submit complaints to the CEE via email was 12:00 PM today, November 29, 2025. Since this critical deadline has now passed, aspirants must now shift their focus to the next stage: the release of the final allotment list.
The CEE Kerala will meticulously review all valid complaints submitted before the deadline. Once all objections are addressed and necessary corrections are implemented, the final and conclusive allotment list for Round 1 will be published on the official website. This final list will be the definitive guide for candidates proceeding with the admission formalities.
Provisional Allotment: Key Caveats and Verification
Aspirants must understand that the list released is strictly provisional and all allotments are subject to rigorous checks and verifications. Several crucial conditions apply to these initial seat offers:
- Academic and Affiliation Status: Allotments are strictly provisional, depending on the concerned medical college obtaining necessary affiliation and recognition from the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS)/Government and relevant All India Regulatory Bodies.
- Caste Verification (SC/ST): Candidates provisionally allotted under the SC/ST reservation categories whose caste status is still under scrutiny by the KIRTADS (Kerala Institute for Research Training and Development Studies of Scheduled Castes and Tribes) will find their admission purely conditional. The final confirmation rests upon the successful verification of their caste status.
- NRI Documentation: Candidates who were considered for the NRI quota based on provisional affidavits regarding sponsor documentation (such as expired or expiring visa validity) must submit the prescribed original documents within the time frame specified by the CEE. Failure to provide these mandatory documents will result in the immediate cancellation of the provisional allotment in the NRI quota, and the candidate will not be considered for NRI seats in subsequent rounds.
Furthermore, it was noted that in compliance with an interim court order, one General Surgery seat under the Service Quota of the Directorate of Medical Education was reserved and excluded from this provisional allotment.
Aspirants are advised to use the time before the final list release to arrange all original documents required for the final admission and reporting phase. For regular updates on admission procedures and official notices, follow Only Education News.
