In a major development for medical and dental aspirants in Kerala, the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has published the final seat allotment result for the first phase of NEET UG 2025 counselling. The results, released on the official website cee.kerala.gov.in, are now available for 5,946 candidates who have been provisionally allotted MBBS and BDS seats. This follows the provisional allotment list released on August 16, and the final list brings clarity and an end to the anxious wait for thousands of students.

According to the official notification, there have been no changes in the final seat allotment list from the provisional one, which adds a layer of certainty for aspirants. This is a crucial step towards confirming admission to various government and private medical and dental colleges within the state. The CEE's prompt action comes after the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) revised the dates for the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling, allowing Kerala to smoothly add 335 more MBBS and BDS seats to the state quota.

Aspirants Must Act Now: The Reporting Process

With the final result declared, the focus has now shifted entirely to the physical reporting and admission process. All candidates who have been allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges for admission. The deadline for this is set for August 24, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

Here is a step-by-step guide on what to do next to confirm your admission:

  1. Download Your Allotment Memo: Candidates must first log in to the KEAM Candidate Portal on the CEE website to download their allotment memo and data sheet. These two documents are essential and must be presented at the college during admission.
  2. Make Fee Payment: For those allotted a seat in a Government Medical or Dental college, the prescribed fee must be remitted online to the Commissioner. The fee particulars are clearly mentioned on the allotment memo. Failure to pay the fee will result in the loss of the allotted seat.
  3. Gather Required Documents: Prepare all necessary original documents for physical verification at the college. It is highly recommended to have multiple sets of photocopies as well.
  4. Report to Allotted College: Present yourself at the allotted college within the stipulated dates of August 19 to August 24, 2025. During this visit, you will undergo document verification and complete the remaining admission formalities.

The institute authorities will then verify the documents, confirm the admission, and submit the list of admitted candidates to the Commissioner through the Online Admission Management System (OAMS) by the deadline.

What's Next for Aspirants?

For those who did not receive an allotment in this round, there is no need to lose hope. The CEE Kerala will conduct subsequent rounds of counselling to fill the remaining vacant seats. The schedule for the second round will be published on the official website soon.

Candidates who wish to upgrade their seats in the upcoming rounds should carefully follow the official guidelines. A seat gained in a later round will automatically supersede the one in the current round. Staying well-informed is the key to successfully securing a seat in this highly competitive admission process.
