Exam Paper Pattern:

The GUJCET 2025 will be conducted in an offline mode as a pen-and-paper test. The exam consists of two papers:

Paper 1: Physics and Chemistry

Paper 2: Mathematics or Biology (depending on the stream)

Total Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)

Total Questions: 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Physics: 40 questions

Chemistry: 40 questions

Mathematics/Biology: 40 questions

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will earn 1 mark, while there is a negative marking of -0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

What to Carry on Exam Day:

Candidates must ensure they bring the following items to the GUJCET exam center:

Admit Card: A printed copy of the GUJCET 2025 admit card is mandatory for entry into the examination hall. Without it, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam.

Photo Identification: A valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhar card, voter ID, or school ID) is required for identity verification.

Writing Instruments: Candidates should carry at least two blue or black ballpoint pens for marking answers on the OMR sheet.

Simple Calculator: A basic calculator is permitted for computations during the exam.

Exam Day Guidelines:

Arrive at the exam center at least two hours before the scheduled start time to complete all pre-exam procedures.

Candidates are prohibited from bringing any electronic devices, textbooks, notes, or any other unauthorized materials into the examination hall.

It is advisable to wear light-colored clothing and avoid jewelry or full-sleeve garments as per the dress code guidelines.

Masks are mandatory due to ongoing health protocols, and candidates should carry extra masks if needed.
