Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling 2024 Begins August 18

Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling 2024 registration will begin on August 18 and will remain open until August 24, 2024. Candidates can apply for admission to MBBS and BDS programs through this process. The seat allotment result for the first round is scheduled to be announced on August 30, 2024.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh has announced the schedule for NEET UG 2024 counselling. Candidates can register for the first round of counselling starting from August 18, 2024, on the official website cgdme.in. The last date to apply for round 1 is August 24, 2024.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for Chhattisgarh NEET UG counselling 2024, candidates must have:

  • Qualified for the NEET UG 2024 exam
  • Obtained the minimum required score as per their category
  • Fulfilled the domicile criteria of Chhattisgarh state


Documents Required

During registration, candidates will need to upload the following documents:

  • NEET UG 2024 admit card and scorecard
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  • Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Income certificate (for OBC candidates)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)


Counselling Process

The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds. In each round, candidates will be able to fill in their college and course preferences. Seats will be allotted based on NEET rank, preferences, and reservation policies.


Key Dates

  • Round 1 registration: August 18 to 24, 2024
  • Choice filling and locking: August 18 to 25, 2024
  • Publication of merit list: August 27, 2024
  • Seat allotment result: August 30, 2024
  • Reporting to allotted colleges: August 31 to September 5, 2024


Subsequent Rounds 
After round 1, the following rounds are scheduled:

  • Round 2: September 9 to 23, 2024
  • Round 3: October 3 to 16, 2024
  • Mop-up round: October 21 to 24, 2024
