Bihar NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Begins Today
In a significant move for medical aspirants, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), operating under the Post Graduate Medical Admission Council (PGMAC), has officially commenced the registration and choice filling process for Bihar NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling today, December 16, 2025.

Candidates who qualified in NEET PG 2025 and are eligible for admission to the State Quota seats (50%) in Government and Private medical colleges across Bihar must complete this process promptly, as the window is extremely tight.
PGMAC Round 2 Critical Dates and Deadlines
The entire registration and choice filling process for the second round will conclude within a three-day window. Aspirants must strictly adhere to the following dates and times:

Crucial Alert: Candidates who participated in Round 1 and opted for Upgradation, as well as new eligible candidates, must complete the choice filling and locking process. Failure to lock choices before the deadline will result in the automatic locking of the last saved preferences.
Steps for New & Existing Candidates
- New Registration: Fresh candidates who did not register in Round 1 must complete the registration, application submission, and pay the non-refundable registration fee (₹2,200 for all categories) and the refundable security deposit.
- Existing Candidates: Candidates who registered in Round 1 but did not get a seat, or those who secured a seat but opted for Upgradation, must log in to the PGMAC portal and fill fresh choices based on their priority and the current seat matrix.
- Security Deposit: The security deposit is crucial: ₹25,000 for General/EWS candidates for Government Colleges, ₹12,500 for Reserved categories, and ₹2,00,000 for all categories seeking Private College seats.
