AYUSH NEET Counselling 2025: Round 1 Registration Begins for Medical Aspirants

The much-anticipated Round 1 of AYUSH NEET UG counselling has officially begun for aspirants of traditional medicine streams. The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has opened its registration portal, providing a crucial opportunity for all NEET UG 2025 qualified candidates to secure a seat in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS), and other related courses. For aspirants planning to participate, here is the official schedule for Round 1:
- Registration and Payment: The window for registration and payment started on August 22, 2025, and will close on September 1, 2025.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates can start filling and locking their college and course preferences from August 26, 2025, with the final deadline being September 1, 2025.
- Seat Allotment Result: The seat allotment result for this round is scheduled to be published on September 4, 2025.
- Reporting to Allotted Colleges: Students who are successfully allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges for document verification and admission between September 4 and September 11, 2025.
Candidates are advised to complete their registration and choice-filling process well within the specified deadlines to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
How to Apply and What You Need
The counselling process is being conducted for a total of approximately 53,000 seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ). To participate, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of having qualified for the NEET 2025 exam, being at least 17 years of age, and having passed their Class 12 exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
The application is entirely online and can be completed by visiting the official AACCC website, aaccc.gov.in. Aspirants will need to use their NEET credentials to log in and proceed with the registration. After the seat allotment, they must carry a set of essential documents for verification, including the NEET 2025 admit card and scorecard, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, a valid photo ID, and the provisional allotment letter.
The AACCC is set to conduct three rounds of counselling, followed by a mop-up round for specific seats that remain vacant.
