Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 2004. The date of birth on the High School Certificate will be considered the final proof.
  • Academic Qualification: Applicants must have either passed or be appearing for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in 2026. This includes students from CBSE, State Boards, ISCE, and other recognized boards.
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in the qualifying examination is required for general category candidates.
    • Relaxation: Candidates belonging to the SC/ST community or hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North-Eastern states require a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCM/PCB.
    • Subject Requirement: PCM candidates are eligible for all B.Tech programs. PCB candidates are eligible for Bio-stream programs such as B.Tech. Biotechnology, Bio-engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering with specialisation in Bioinformatics/Health Informatics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialisation in Biomedical Engineering.
