Who is Eligible for Round 2?
The second round of counselling is open to several categories of candidates, providing a fresh opportunity to a wide range of aspirants. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- New Registrants: Candidates who did not register or participate in the first round of counselling can now register and participate for the first time.
- Candidates with No Allotment: Aspirants who registered for Round 1 but were not allotted any seat are eligible to participate in Round 2 without needing to re-register.
- Upgrading Candidates: Those who were allotted a seat in Round 1 and accepted it with the option to upgrade can participate to secure a better college or course.
- Resigned Candidates: Aspirants who joined their Round 1 seat but have resigned before the stipulated deadline, without forfeiture of their security deposit, are also eligible.
Candidates who have already secured a seat and joined a college in Round 1 and have not opted for an upgrade are not eligible to participate in this round.
