The crucial physical document verification for the West Bengal NEET UG 2025 Round 3 counselling has officially concluded. Aspirants who reported to their designated centers between October 25 and October 28, 2025, are now eligible for the final seat allocation process. This article details the immediate next steps: the imminent seat matrix and allotment result, the strict college reporting deadlines, and the last chance at admission via the Stray Vacancy Round. Time is running out to secure an MBBS/BDS seat in West Bengal's medical and dental colleges.

With the document verification phase (October 25–28, 2025) now complete, all successfully verified candidates have secured their eligibility for a seat in the third round. The focus now shifts entirely to the West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) for the publication of key lists and the ultimate seat allotment result. Aspirants must track the official website, wbmcc.nic.in, closely for these highly time-sensitive events.

  • Seat Matrix Publication: The Round 3 Seat Matrix is scheduled to be released on October 29, 2025, after 12:00 Noon. This matrix will indicate the final number of vacant MBBS and BDS seats available for allotment in government and private institutions across West Bengal.
  • Choice Filling and Locking: For those candidates who qualified for this round, the choice filling and locking window is exceptionally brief: October 29 (2:00 PM) to October 30, 2025 (2:00 PM). Candidates must use these 24 hours wisely to finalize their preferences, as this is the final opportunity before the main allotment.
  • Seat Allotment Result: The Round 3 Allotment Result will be declared on November 1, 2025, after 4:00 PM. This result is the final confirmation of admission eligibility for the state quota.

Mandatory Reporting and Admission Deadlines

Receiving a seat allotment letter is only the first step; the physical reporting to the college is the final, non-negotiable step to confirm admission. For all candidates successfully allotted a seat in the WB NEET 2025 Round 3, the following strict deadlines apply:

  • Reporting to Allotted Institute: Candidates must physically report to their designated college with all required original documents between November 3 (11:00 AM) and November 5, 2025 (4:00 PM).
  • Admission Formalities: Reporting involves two main actions: Final Document Verification by the college principal/dean and the Payment of the Admission/Tuition Fee. Failure to complete both steps within the November 5 deadline will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.
  • No Exit Rule: It is critical to note that from Round 3 onwards, the "Free Exit" option is NOT available. If a candidate accepts and joins a seat in Round 3, they will be ineligible to participate in any further rounds of counselling (including the Stray Vacancy Round for both AIQ and State Quota). This decision is final and binding.

Stray Vacancy Round: The Final Opportunity

For candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the first three rounds, or who were not eligible for the current round, the Stray Vacancy Round represents the final chance to secure a medical or dental seat in the 2025 academic session. Aspirants must be aware of this separate, post-Mop-Up process.

  • Online Registration Window: The registration window for the Stray Vacancy Round is set to open from November 7 to November 9, 2025. Fresh candidates who haven't registered earlier and those who are eligible can apply during this time.
  • Choice Filling and Locking: This will take place immediately after the seat matrix is published, from November 11 to November 12, 2025. Given the limited seats, strategic choice filling is paramount.
  • Final Admission Dates: The seat allotment result is expected on November 17, with reporting to the allotted institutes scheduled from November 18 to November 20, 2025. This will be the absolute last date for admissions.

All aspirants are urged to keep their complete document file ready—from the NEET UG 2025 Scorecard and West Bengal Domicile Certificate to the bank demand draft for fees—to ensure a seamless and successful admission process in this final phase of the counselling.

Conclusion

The conclusion of document verification marks the final push toward the end of the main WB NEET 2025 counselling cycle. With the Round 3 allotment result arriving on November 1, and the reporting window closing on November 5, candidates have a narrow timeframe to convert their eligibility status into a confirmed admission. Aspirants must stay hyper-vigilant for the official result on the WBMCC website and proceed directly to their allotted college to pay the fees and submit documents, thereby securing their dream MBBS or BDS seat.
