SNAP 2025 results are officially scheduled for release on January 9, 2026. Review the expected score vs percentile trends and upcoming GE-PI admission stages.

The announcement for the SNAP 2025 result is now only one day away, with Symbiosis International (Deemed University) confirmed to release scorecards this Friday. As of today, the university has completed the processing of the three computer-based tests conducted throughout December. Approximately 1.5 lakh aspirants are expected to access the official portal to view their performance metrics and sectional breakdowns.

Official Result Release and Scorecard Retrieval

The university will activate the digital download link for the SNAP 2025 result on the official website, snaptest.org, typically around mid-morning on January 9. Candidates require their unique login credentials, specifically their SNAP ID and password, to access the portal. The issued scorecard will reflect the candidate’s scaled score and the final percentile calculated based on the highest performance across any of the sessions attended.

  • Cumulative Performance: For candidates who opted for multiple attempts, the best of three scores is utilized for the final shortlist ranking.
  • Document Accuracy: The scorecard contains essential identifiers including the candidate's photograph, roll number, and sectional scores.
  • Portal Traffic: Given the high volume of test-takers, the university often sees peak traffic immediately following the 11:00 AM activation time.

Expected Score vs Percentile and Institute Cutoffs

Following the result declaration, individual Symbiosis institutes will begin the process of releasing their specific cutoff percentiles. These benchmarks determine which candidates are eligible for the next phase of the admission cycle. Based on the moderate difficulty level of the December sessions, industry analysts have projected the following score-to-percentile correlations for the 2026-28 batch.

Estimated Raw Score

Expected Percentile

99.5+

SIBM Pune / SCMHRD

42 - 44

  • Institutional Autonomy: Each constituent institute under SIU manages its own shortlist and cutoff criteria independently.
  • Reservation Policies: Cutoff scores vary significantly across categories, including General, SC/ST, and Differently Abled.

The Subsequent Admission Selection Rounds

The release of the SNAP 2025 result marks the transition from the written examination to the Personality Assessment stage. The second phase of the admission process is tentatively scheduled to begin in early February 2026. This stage traditionally involves the Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds, which are conducted separately by each institute.

  • Selection Weightage: The final merit list is generated by assigning 50% weightage to the SNAP 2025 result and 50% to the GE-PI performance.
  • Mandatory Participation: Candidates must attend all components of the selection process to remain eligible for the final merit or waitlist.
  • WAT Update: Reports indicate that several institutes have continued the trend of excluding the Writing Ability Test (WAT) in favor of more intensive personal interviews.

Conclusion

With the SNAP 2025 result date fast approaching, the focus for thousands of candidates shifts from examination to the evaluation of their admission prospects. The official scorecard will serve as the definitive document for entry into 16 Symbiosis institutes. Once the percentile scores are released on January 9, the subsequent shortlist announcements will define the competitive landscape for the upcoming academic year.
