The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Madhya Pradesh has released the Round 1 seat allotment result for NEET UG 2025. This article provides a detailed guide for medical and dental aspirants, outlining the essential documents needed and the important dates for college reporting from August 19 to August 23.

The wait is finally over for thousands of medical aspirants in Madhya Pradesh. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has officially released the Round 1 seat allotment result for NEET UG 2025 counselling on its official website, dme.mponline.gov.in. This key development, which was published late today, marks a crucial step in the admission process for both MBBS and BDS courses for the 2025-26 academic session.

The DME has also confirmed the schedule for the physical reporting and admission process. All candidates who have been provisionally allotted a seat must report to their respective colleges in person from August 19, 2025, to August 23, 2025. It is critical for candidates to complete this step within the designated timeframe to confirm their admission. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of their seat, which will then be made available in subsequent counselling rounds.

The allotment of seats has been based on several factors, including the candidate's NEET merit rank, the preferences they filled during the choice-locking process, the state’s reservation criteria, and the availability of seats in various government and private medical and dental colleges.

Important Checklist for Physical Reporting

To ensure a smooth admission process, candidates are advised to prepare a comprehensive set of documents beforehand. The following is a list of essential documents required for physical scrutiny and admission at the allotted college:

  • NEET UG 2025 Admit Card
  • NEET UG 2025 Scorecard/Rank Letter
  • Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and Certificates (for proof of date of birth and educational qualification)
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport)
  • Eight recent passport-size photographs
  • Provisional Allotment Letter downloaded from the dme.mponline.gov.in portal
  • Domicile Certificate of Madhya Pradesh (mandatory for state quota seats)
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable, in the format prescribed by the government of MP)
  • Sub-Category Certificates (e.g., PwD, Freedom Fighter, or Sainik, if applicable)
  • Rural Service and Seat Leaving Bond (a Rs 500 affidavit may be required for students opting for seat upgradation).

Candidates are advised to carry both the original documents and multiple sets of photocopies for submission. It is also important to pay the required college fees within the reporting period to finalize the admission.

What Happens Next?

For those who did not secure a seat in this round, the opportunity to participate in the upcoming rounds remains. The DME will announce the schedule for Round 2, which will include fresh registrations and a new round of choice filling. Seats that remain vacant from Round 1 will be added to the seat matrix for Round 2, giving aspirants another chance to get into their preferred colleges.

This process is a testament to the highly competitive nature of medical admissions, and aspirants are encouraged to stay resilient. It is crucial to monitor official announcements and prepare meticulously for the next phase. For all the latest updates on medical entrance exams and admissions, follow Only Education News.
