The West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCT&VE&SD) has released a revised schedule for the JEXPO 2025 counselling process. This change comes as a relief to thousands of engineering aspirants who are navigating the admission process for polytechnic colleges. The first phase of choice filling, which had been facing server issues, has now been extended, giving candidates a much-needed opportunity to complete their preferences.

It is crucial for all registered candidates to take note of the new dates to ensure they do not miss any key deadlines. The entire JEXPO counselling and admission procedure is scheduled to be completed by the AICTE deadline of September 15, 2025.

• First-Phase Choice Filling: The online portal for filling and locking your preferences is now open until September 1, 2025. Candidates must ensure their choices are submitted before this new deadline.
• First-Phase Allotment: The results for the first round of seat allotment are set to be published on September 2, 2025.
• First-Phase Admission: After the allotment, candidates who are satisfied with their seats must complete their admission formalities, including document verification and fee payment, between September 2 and September 5, 2025.
• Second-Phase Allotment: The second phase of allotment results will be declared on September 6, 2025.
• Second-Phase Admission: The admission window for candidates allotted seats in the second phase is from September 7 to September 9, 2025.
• Declaration of Vacant Seats: Following the completion of the second round, the list of vacant seats will be made available on September 10, 2025.
• Second-Phase Choice Filling: A new window for choice filling will open from September 10 to September 12, 2025, for those who wish to participate in the third round.
• Third-Phase Allotment: The third and final round of allotment results is scheduled for September 13, 2025.
• Third-Phase Admission: Final admissions will take place from September 14 to September 15, 2025.
• Classes Begin: The commencement of classes for the new academic session is set for September 15, 2025.

Candidates are strongly advised to fill in as many preferences as possible to enhance their chances of securing a seat in a program of their choice. The JEXPO merit list, which was published on August 25, will be the basis for seat allotment.
