The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has officially commenced the Round 1 Seat Allotment process for the INI CET January 2026 session. Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam for MD, MS, M.Ch (6 years), DM (6 years), and MDS courses can now view their allotment status on the official portal. Mandatory Seat Acceptance Options
Upon logging into the portal, allotted candidates must select one of the following two options to proceed. Failure to select an option will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.
- Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and DO NOT wish to participate in further rounds of seat allocation.
- Option 2: Accept the allotted seat and WISH TO PARTICIPATE in the 2nd Round of seat allocation.

Physical Reporting & Document Checklist
Candidates who select either Option 1 or Option 2 must report to the respective allotted AIIMS/INI for the verification of original documents. If a candidate is unable to produce original documents at the time of reporting because they are submitted at another college, they must provide a Security Deposit of ₹3 Lakh via electronic fund transfer.
Essential Documents for Reporting:
- Offer Letter and Seat Allocation Letter.
- Final Registration Slip and Admit Card issued by AIIMS.
- MBBS/MDS Professional Degree Certificate.
- Detailed Marksheets of MBBS/MDS professional examinations.
- Internship Completion Certificate (showing completion by Jan 30, 2026).
- Provisional/Permanent Medical Registration (MCI/NMC/State Council).
- High School/Higher Secondary Certificate (for Date of Birth proof).
- Relevant Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) in the prescribed Central Government format.
Important Note for Upgrading Candidates
If you choose Option 2 and report to your allotted institute, your original documents will be held by that institute. If you are upgraded in Round 2, you will receive a relieving letter from the first institute to join the second one. However, if you do not join the allotted seat in Round 1 after selecting an option, you will be ineligible for the subsequent rounds.
