Key Application Details

The application window for this prestigious entry scheme is currently open. Candidates must submit their applications online through the Indian Army's official recruitment portal.

  • Application Dates: The application window opened on August 4, 2025, for men and August 5, 2025, for women. The last date to apply is September 3, 2025, for men and September 4, 2025, for women.
  • Vacancies: There are a total of 10 vacancies, with five reserved for men and five for women.

Eligibility and Selection Process

The selection process for the JAG Entry Scheme is unique as it does not involve a written entrance exam. Instead, the shortlisting of candidates is based on their academic performance and their CLAT PG 2025 score.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 27 years of age.
  • Educational Qualification: A minimum of 55% aggregate marks in an LLB degree from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
  • Mandatory Requirement: A valid CLAT PG 2025 score is a must for all applicants.

The shortlisted candidates will then be called for a five-day SSB (Services Selection Board) interview, followed by a medical examination. The shortlisting for the interviews is expected to be done in the second week of November 2025. This is a chance for law graduates to not only practice their profession but also serve the nation.
