The selection process for the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak has reached its final stages. With the final merit list and offer letters for the IPM 2025-30 batch having been released earlier, this period marks the critical window for all selected candidates to finalize their admission. This is a final reminder to all aspirants who have received an offer letter to complete all necessary formalities, including the payment of the Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) and preparing for document verification, before the academic session commences later this month.

The journey for the IIM Rohtak IPM batch began with the IPMAT 2025 exam, followed by rigorous Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The final selection list, which was generated based on a composite score considering the IPMAT score, PI performance, and past academic records, concluded the comprehensive evaluation process. The offer letters sent to the selected candidates contain a detailed set of instructions and a strict deadline for acceptance. As the start of the academic session in the third week of August approaches, this final phase is essential to confirm a seat in one of the country's most sought-after undergraduate management programs.

The Offer Acceptance Process: What Candidates Must Do Now

Candidates who have received their provisional offer letter must act promptly to secure their seat. The process for offer acceptance is as follows:

  • Payment of Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA): The first and most critical step is to pay the OAA of ₹1,00,000. This amount must be paid online through the official IIM Rohtak admissions portal within the stipulated deadline mentioned in the offer letter. The OAA is not an additional fee; it is a part of the total first-year program fee and will be adjusted accordingly. Failure to pay the OAA by the specified deadline will be considered as a rejection of the admission offer, and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
  • Downloading the Confirmation Letter: Upon successful payment of the OAA, candidates will receive a provisional confirmation letter for their admission to the IPM batch 2025-30 on their registered email ID. This letter is a crucial document and should be saved and printed for future reference.

Preparing for Final Document Verification

The admission process is only provisional until the physical verification of documents is completed at the time of joining the campus. This step is a mandatory part of the process to ensure that all candidates meet the eligibility criteria. Selected candidates must gather and prepare the following documents in both original and photocopy forms:

  • Offer Acceptance Letter: The provisional confirmation letter received after paying the OAA.
  • IPMAT 2025 Scorecard: The official scorecard from the entrance exam.
  • Academic Transcripts: Original mark sheets and passing certificates for Class 10th and 12th.
  • Transfer and Migration Certificates: The transfer certificate from the last attended institution and a migration certificate from the respective board.
  • Category Certificate (if applicable): Candidates who have applied under a reserved category (SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS, DAP) must present a valid, government-issued certificate in the prescribed format.
  • Other Documents: Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card, PAN card), proof of age, and a set of recent passport-sized photographs.

The verification process is strict, and any discrepancy or failure to produce the required documents could lead to the cancellation of the admission. Candidates are therefore advised to ensure all their documents are in order before they report to the campus.

With the academic session scheduled to begin in the third week of August, this is a time of great anticipation for both the institution and the new batch of students. The final admission formalities are not just administrative steps but a crucial part of the journey toward an IIM Rohtak education. Selected candidates must treat these last steps with the utmost seriousness to ensure a smooth transition into their academic life at the prestigious institute.
