The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the Round 3 seat allotment results for the UGET 2025counselling process. This is a critical moment for thousands of engineering aspirants as this round is the final opportunity for those seeking admission to General Merit (GM) seats in private professional colleges across Karnataka. The allotment list, along with the round 3 cutoff ranks, has been published on the official website comedk.org.

All candidates who participated in this round can check their allotment status by logging in to the engineering portal using their user ID and password. The result will display the name of the allotted college, the specific branch, and the associated fee details. It is essential for aspirants to carefully review these details and decide on their next course of action.

Your Next Steps: The Allotment Checklist

For those who have been allotted a seat, the window to act is tight. The key deadlines are as follows:

  • Decision-Making & Fee Payment: The last date to confirm your seat by making a decision and paying the required fees is August 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
  • Physical Reporting: After fee payment, you must physically report to your allotted college. The deadline for this is August 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

For candidates who did not receive an allotment in this round, there is no need to panic. The system will automatically move you to Round 4 counselling.

Essential Documents for College Reporting

The physical reporting process involves the verification of all your original documents. It is imperative that you have everything ready to avoid any issues or delays. Missing documents can lead to the cancellation of your seat. The list of documents you must carry to the college includes:

  • COMEDK 2025 Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Online Fee Payment Receipt
  • COMEDK 2025 Rank Card
  • Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets
  • Valid Government Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, etc.)
  • Transfer Certificate from your previous institution
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Category/Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Only Education advises aspirants to prepare at least two sets of photocopies for all documents, in addition to carrying the originals.

What’s Next: COMEDK Round 4

For candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 3 and choose to 'Accept and Freeze', the counselling process is complete. For those who were not allotted a seat, COMEDK has scheduled a Round 4 for counselling. The choice filling for Round 4 will commence on August 30, 2025, and the seat allotment result is expected on September 2, 2025. It is important to note that once a seat is allotted in Round 4, there is no provision for cancellation or withdrawal.
