In a crucial development for medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh, the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) has officially announced the results for the first round of AP NEET 2025 counselling. A total of 3,751 candidates have been provisionally allotted MBBS seats under the Competent Quota (CQ). The seat allotment result is a pivotal step towards securing a spot in a medical college in the state.

Aspirants who have been allotted a seat are required to complete the admission formalities by the strict deadline of August 29, 2025, at 4 PM. This includes a mandatory physical reporting to their respective allotted institutes.

How to Check the Result and What to Do Next

The seat allotment list is available on the official NTRUHS website. Students can check their status by downloading the result PDF. The list contains essential information such as the candidate's NEET All India Rank, roll number, score, name, and details of the college and course they have been allotted.

Aspirants must now prepare for the next critical step: reporting to the allotted college. This process is time-sensitive and requires candidates to carry all their original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies.

Important Documents to Carry

Aspirants must not forget to take the following documents to the college to ensure a seamless admission process:

  • NEET 2025 Admit Card
  • NEET 2025 Scorecard
  • Provisional Allotment Letter
  • Class 10 and Class 12 Mark Sheets and Certificates
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhaar Card or another valid ID proof
  • Passport-size photographs

The NTRUHS also released a separate list of 835 Meritorious Reserved Category (MRC) candidates who were initially allotted seats in the open category and were later moved to a better college as part of the counselling process. This highlights the transparency and effectiveness of the allotment procedure.

For all the newly admitted students, classes for the academic session are scheduled to commence on September 5, 2025. This makes the reporting process even more urgent, as it is the final step to secure the allotted seat.

The AP NEET 2025 counselling process is a highly competitive one, and aspirants are advised to remain alert and follow all official notifications from the NTRUHS. For all the latest news on medical exams and admissions, follow Only Education News for regular updates.
